Awareness - Event
The event - hiSTORY
We hosted an event at Fairfield House where BEMSCA operates. The event's primary purpose was to raise awareness and get people to BEMSCA. The second purpose of the event was fundraising. We managed to raise £160 for the charity. The event ticket was being sold at Eventbrite, the ticket price of which was £5.98. We had capped the event to 30 people from our side but had to extend it to 32 as more people requested to attend it.

In total it was an event of 60 people including the group members and BEMSCA members. The event was a success, it was filled with fun, food, and games. In the end, everyone loved it, as it served BEMSCA’s and our purpose.
The tour of Fairfield House helped awareness of the mission of BEMSCA and how they are achieving it. Interacting with the members and community of BEMSCA provided an opportunity for participants to realise to whom the charity is providing service. To be seen how the charity works and whom they support is an important factor to build trust and awareness according to public trust in charities 2021: web version (2022).
Sponsorship Marketing - How it helped?
We managed to get vouchers from popular businesses in Bath to motivate people to participate in the focus group and fill out the survey for BEMSCA. The third-party associations included Café Nero, Shakeaway, Tortilla, Swoon, Thaikun, Dos Dedos and Hotel Abbey. This allowed us to spread awareness among the major famous food joints in Bath and motivated our participants to do their best. According to (Deutsch, 1959), people are motivated to participate and do their best when there is some prize to it. The prize acts as a motivational factor for participants.
